Executive Board NominationsRMACAC offers members the opportunity to nominate candidates for Board positions. Self-nominations are welcome. Nominations will open each spring. Nominations for Election to Open Board Positions Two committee chairs will be finishing their RMACAC service in April. The Governance and Nominating Committee is searching for interested people to fill these vacancies. This an opportunity to help shape the future of our organization while carrying on RMACAC's vision. Board service has been an incredible experience for many current and past Chairs both professionally and personally and we encourage you to think about applying. If you or someone you know is interested in getting further involved in RMACAC leadership, please consider the following open Board positions. Open Board PositionsAdmissions Practices: Promotes ethical standards and integrity within the college admission process. Educates members on NACAC’s Guide to Ethical Practice and addresses related concerns. Advancement Chair :Leads efforts in fundraising, sponsorships, and resource development to support RMACAC programs and events. Builds strategic partnerships to sustain organizational growth. Membership Chair: Manages member recruitment, engagement, and retention. Strengthens connections across RMACAC’s five-state region to ensure active participation and value for members. College Fairs Chair: Coordinates RMACAC-sponsored college fairs across the region. Supports equitable access and connection between students and postsecondary institutions. IDEA Chair: Leads efforts to foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access across RMACAC programs and policies. Supports initiatives that serve underrepresented populations. Responsible for selection and dispersion of the student scholarships. Treasurer Elect: Shadows current RMACAC Treasurer for 1 year before taking over Treasurer duties. Oversees RMACAC’s financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and fund disbursement. Ensures fiscal responsibility and transparency across all association operations. Nominations for Election to Executive Board Positions Serving on the RMACAC Executive Board is an opportunity to hone skills, learn more about the industry, and become involved in a community of admissions professionals. A nomination is simply an expression of interest. We will follow up with all nominees before they appear on the official ballot. All positions are elected to three-year terms.
